MTN Ghana has announced a compensation package for all its data customers of free 2gb data valid for two days.

The free data is in compensation for challenges faced by customers last week when MTN’s internet service broke down due to what they say was damage to an undersea fibre optic cable.

As recompense for that, MTN has given all data customers 2gb of data but it’s only valid for two days – January 23rd and 24th.

“We appreciate customers for their patience and support during the period of the disruption,” MTN Ghana CEO Selorm Adadevoh said.
