Box office star Dwayne Johnson has lost his father, Rocky Johnson.

Rocky died Wednesday in Tampa, Florida – he was 75.

Like his son after him, Rocky Johnson was a famous wrestler in his heyday and won numerous world titles. He has been inducted into the WWE ‘Hall of Fame’.

Dwayne’s famous wrestling name ‘The Rock’ was chosen from his father.
