Nigerian gospel singer Frank Edwards has expressed that musicians should desist from venturing into the gospel industry if their aim is to make money.
According to Frank, Gospel is about spreading the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ and not making a fortune.

He maintained that gospel music and circular music is very different asserting that one is a ministry and the other an industry.

“I tell people that if you want to make money, don’t do gospel music; you would have a lot of issues. Gospel music means one is reaching out to people through music; the others are strictly entertainment or at least 70-80 per cent entertainment.”
He made the statement while speaking in an interview with The Punch.
