Former stripper who inspired Jennifer Lopez’s character, Ramona, in the movie ‘Hustlers’ is suing the film producers for $40 million.
Samantha Barbash, in a lawsuit filed at the Manhattan Federal Court against Lopez’s production company claimed they tried to “exploit” her likeness and character in the hit film.

Reports also reveal that she alleged the movie defames her by portraying Lopez’s character “using and manufacturing illegal substances in her home where she lived with her child.”
Samantha Barbash is seeking $20 million in compensatory and $20 million in punitive damages.
The movie features multiple award winning American rapper Cardi B and it was based on a true story of Samantha Barbash.
