UG Lecturer Features Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Things Fall Apart’ In Exams’

Students of the nation’s premium University, University of Ghana, Legon, were totally thrown-aback when they saw that the young High life Musician, Kofi Kinaata’s latest song, ‘Things Fall Apart,’ has been featured in an exam they were writing.

This came from the Department of the Study of Religions during their end of first semester examinations in the 2019/2020 academic year.

Specifically, in Section B of their ‘Religions in Ghana’ paper, students were requested to examine the song in relation to social change.

“In relation to social change, examine Kofi Kinaata’s questioning of the religious life of the contemporary Ghanaian in his song ‘Things Fall Apart,’” the question read.
