Senegalese-American legendary singer Akon is one of the numerous big stars entering Ghana this year at the height of the Year of Return.
Akon sent social media into kind of a meltdown after unceremoniously announcing that he’s currently in Ghana!

Over the weekend, he held a press conference alongside EIB Network CEO Bola Ray wherein he talked about his upcoming album and a concert he’s planning in March next year.
Akon touched on numerous other topics – including describing Sarkodie as Ghana’s biggest artist, his works of philanthropy and his call for Africans in the diaspora to invest in Africa.
