A Ghanaian living in the U.K, Albert Amofa, has died after being stabbed in the leg.
Amofa died Tuesday after suffering the stab wound on Sunday during the attempted jacking in Croydon.
According to police, the perpetrators stabbed Amofa during an attempt to steal his car. The incident occurred near his home as he was returning from town.

He was wounded in the attack on Sunday and sent to a West London hospital but died Tuesday. Police are expected to conduct an autopsy and have asked for help from the public to help catch the perpetrators.
“At this early stage we are still keeping an open mind as to the motive but it appears Albert was simply returning home to be with his family. He was killed near his own home and his family have been left devastated. Specialist officers are doing all they can to support them at this terrible time,” Detective Chief Inspector Mick Norman, from the Specialist Crime Command said.
He added: “I believe that someone in the local community will have information about who was responsible for killing Albert. You cannot imagine the pain this has caused his family and I am directly asking the community to give them the answers they deserve.

Amofa’s death follows a similarly painful stabbing of a 15-year-old Ghanaian footballer, also in the U.K.
