The ‘Fame Kɔ’ hitmaker, Emelia Brobbey who is well known in the Kumawood movie industry has heeded to criticism and promised to work on her voice.
Despite the backlash coming from the Ghanaian populace on social media about her new song which was released last week, she has vowed not to give up on her new venture which she is convinced is a talent and must be put to work, but rather take the critics in good faith and produce good music in the near future.
She made this revelation on Luv FM at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
She said that after reading “most of the comments, what I read is the voice. So, I know that they are criticising me so that I work on the voice.”
Many people were found trolling her on social media after listening to her single song. Some said they were going to report her to the Environmental Protection Agency because she was producing what they described in their view as “noise” whereas others said the song should be added to the six killer diseases.
Many others including a Ghanaian comedian OB Amponsah and others were seen in videos that have gone viral making fun of what she saw as a masterpiece.
“So I sang Emelia Brobbey’s voice, that’s what I did. I did me. I sang my voice. If Ghanaians are not happy and they think it’s noise I’ll go do the homework and bring it,” the ‘Adofo Asa’ she iterated.
