A Plus has taken action aimed at saving the Ghanaian taxpayer a gargantuan amount of money over an alleged illegal contract between the government and a London based firm, Kroll and Associates.
Kroll and Associates reportedly won a government contract worth Ghc 4.8m which was not ratified by Parliament as per law, but were still paid the amount.

In his suit, A Plus is seeking the Supreme Court to declare the contract null and void and thus order Kroll and Associates to pay back the money to the people of Ghana, plus interest.
A Plus argues that the contract is an international business or economic transaction under article 181(5) of the 1992 constitution, thus it could only become operational after parliamentary approval, which evidently did not happen.
