Taking to social media, Kwamee announced his departure with a reminiscent post, a throwback to when he started hosting the show alongside Jessica.
“Throw back to when we started this tag team. 7 years on radio ended today. I’ll miss you Akua Jessica OS and everyone else. It’ll always be home. New Journey begins.” he wrote.
Osei Kwame’s abrupt departure after 7 years adds to another recent departure from Citi – DJ Armani stepping down after 11 years in his job.
Journalists leaving their stations has become pretty common in Ghana these days – and its usually because they’ve been poached by another station.
