President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has graded his government’s performance in their three years in office at 72%.
Akufo-Addo made the comment during the meet the press event being held today.
He was asked about the assessment by policy think tank IMANI Ghana, which scored the NPP 48% for their ability to fulfil campaign promises made in 2016.
In response, the President has rubbished the IMANI study.
“I disagree with the 48 per cent [IMANI] assessment,” he said at the Jubilee House today.
“We are working with a figure of 72 per cent.
“So, we have a fundamental disagreement on the figure. Our figure, our assessment is the accurate one,” he maintained.
It’s just a tad arrogant for any politician to score their own performance, but 72% for the current situation in Ghana is just absurd.
