River State Law student, Matilda Itonyo Mark has met her untimely death after an assailant raped and stabbed her.

Matilda Itonyo Mark, 24, a final year law student was killed at her hostel close to Eagle Island.

The unfortunate incident happened on Tuesday, 10th December 2019.

Matilda Itonyo Mark until her death was a law student, writer, dancer and a hairstylist.

The police and the school’s authority were yet to comment on the incident as at the time of filing the report.
