Fans of Afrobeat artist Kay Dizzle have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the versatile artist after he won the AFRO-POP SONG OF THE YEAR at the 2019 EASTERN MUSIC AWARDS held at the Center for National Culture in Koforidua, Ghana.
Kay Dizzle saw off competition from OV, Denchembour, Nuru Shabba and others to emerge the victor in the Afro-pop Song of The Year category.
Kay Dizzle, in his remarks after receiving the award, said that he was grateful to all his fans who supported his career and urged parents to support their children who have dreams to be musicians.
“I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me. I dedicate this award to my daughter Alya.”
“Parents please support your children who want to be musicians. It’s not only doctors and lawyers that make money and get successful,” the award winner said.
Kay Dizzle’s latest achievement has been met with excitement on social media as fellow musicians and music-loving fans have lauded his efforts in selling Eastern music to the world.
