Information reaching GhanaCelebrities.Com has that the famous music producer/sound engineer Bodo Staiger who is based in Germany has died.

The recorded several hit songs for Ghanaian highlife musicians such as; Daddy Lumba, Nana Acheampong, Tagoe Sisters, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Ofori Amponsah, Oheneba Kissi, and others in the 80s and 90s.

Bodo Staiger founded Rheinklang Studios in Dusseldorf in 1988, where he recorded and mastered most of these Highlife songs.

Tributes have started pouring in, with Ghanaian music producer/sound engineer-Fred Kyei Mensah writing this on his Facebook: “Rest well the famous Sound engineer/music producer from Germany, Bodo Steiger. Your contribution to Ghana’s Music is unblemished”
