Ghanaian students furthering their education in the United States had spent over $129m on fees by the end of the 2019 academic year.
This is according to data from the 2019 Open Doors report.

Ghanaian students studying in the States reached 3,600 over this academic year, Open Doors add, making Ghana the country with the second-highest number of students from Sub Saharan Africa studying in the U.S.
Nigeria top the list with 13,423 students.
