Ghanaian highlife artist Kuami Eugene has said that one thing which is worrying the entertainment industry is the fan base and other groups in the industry.
According to him, there’s nothing of such in Nigeria and that’s why the Nigerian music industry is far ahead of Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with MzGee on 3FM, he said all these groups in Ghana aren’t necessary and they are the reason why its hard to organize shows in Ghana.
“Fan bases make it difficult to organize shows in Ghana. Its not like that in Nigeria. There ain’t any Davido Movement nor Wizkid Nation. Shatta Movement, Bhim Nation, Sark Natives and other groups in Ghana music is not necessary.”
“There are too many movements, too many gangs, too many Army in GH entertainment industry and because of that, there is division; music lovers want to only support their favourite artistes and not everyone as in the case of Nigeria,“ he said.

He also added that with these gangs which cause divisions in the music industry, the industry won’t move forward.
