In the midst of so many impossibilities, popular Ghanaian journalist has beared the cross through to its resurrection — the story of Sokoo Hemaa.

TV and radio presenter Melody Kukua Adjei aka Sokoo Hemaa was once a ‘kayayo’ (head porter), however, she has graduated successfully from the African University College of Communication.

According to her, it hasn’t been an easy journey but she stayed determined and fought to make her dream a reality.

Taken to social media, Sokoo Hemaa has shared her story to inspire other young girls.

‘I nearly deferred, yes because it was tough! But I kept on fighting and Yes, I made it.

‘From KAYAYO to Sokoohemaa Kukua. Throughout my education, I’ve never been the best but I’m always among the best after school, I think it’s a calling innit???

‘I’m an example to many young ladies, it doesn’t matter where you’re coming from you can achieve it. I’m here because God made a way Today I graduated successfully from AUCC, glory be to God. Thanks to all who supported me from Day 1 till today especially my husband Mr Adjei Congratulations to me.’
