No Stefflon Don, No Grammy – Nigerian Lady Claims Burna Boy Received Nomination Only Because Of His British Girlfriend

They say behind every successful man stands a woman, a saying a Nigerian lady is attributing to Burna Boy’s recent success.

The ‘African Giant’ received a landmark Grammy nomination earlier this week, an achievement which has everybody congratulating him.

Whilst he’s receiving praise, a Nigerian lady claims most praise should instead be given to his girlfriend, Stefflon Don.

In a post on social media, she argues that without Stefflon Don giving Burna international visibility he might not have won.

“Behind every successful man is a woman. Stefflon Don helped Burna boy get international recognition. Now he’s been nominated for the Grammy’s award. A Queen. I Stan.” she argued.

This claim is very debatable and I’m not sure Burna Boy himself would buy it.
