The Rap Dacta has penned a long heart-warming message to his fans, critics and followers for believing in him and loving what he does, music. According to Okyeame Kwame, he never wanted to be famous or become a star, all he ever wanted was for his raps to be heard.

Okyeame Kwame shared a picture of himself with his award at the just ended 4Syte Music Video Awards and wrote; “22yrs ago, we started on a Hip-life Journey with the passion to be heard.”

“I just wanted people to hear my Raps. I didn’t want to be a celebrity, I didn’t want to be an icon, I didn’t want to be a Star…all I wanted was for my song to be played on the radio, just once. Now, I get called to meetings my father only dreamt about, I get waved at in public, I get Awards for just doing my work and loving it.”
