Former Ghana’s Most Beautiful queen and TV presenter known popularly as Akua GMB has revealed on a show some of the things she had to give up when she got married, acting happens to be one of them.
According to her, combining her celeb status and marrying at an early of 22 was not on a platter of gold but it has been worth every sweat now. She says she wanted to be an actress but her husband would not allow that so that dream never entered the realms of reality.

“It is not easy to be a celebrity and to be married. I wanted to be an actress but he (husband) didn’t want me to be an actress… so that dream died.”
“But well I feel fulfilled now. He told me that if I want to do something else I can because I can be popular without being an actress. And, of course, I am popular now and I am not an actress. And my husband has been very supportive,” she added.
