6 New Regions Created, Creative Arts Council Established - The Ridiculous Things Finance Minister Ofori-Atta Listed As Government's Achievement During 2019 Budget Reading

The finance minister read the 2020 Budget and financial statement in Parliament on Wednesday, November 13th 2019.

As is typical of Ghanaian politics, they had to tell us what they have achieved since coming into office to make Ghanaians feel happy.

But since the tangible achievements are so little, they had to add nonsensical things like establishing a creative arts council and creating new regions – things that only politicians care about but which do not necessarily but food in the mouths of Ghanaians.

In all, the finance minister painted a picture of a rosy Ghana where everyone is living the good life – is that the country you’re living in?
