Ghanaian musician and songwriter Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata is a young man in his late 20s, born and bread in the Efiekuma a sub of Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana.
He was born into a Christian home with the father being a pastor. He spent almost half of his life in Takoradi beginning with his basic level education to his tertiary education at Takoradi Technical Institute where he studied building and construction.

While growing up he had the passion for football so he was playing football alongside singing to entertain his friends. He got into music fully after he injured his leg one day on the field when a friend of his suggested to him to take music serious after his leg healed.
He never heed to that advice until one day he went on a kasahare show on Melody FM in Takoradi then he started singing publicly. He got himself some fans so in other not to disappoint his fans who were demanding more from him, he started playing on shows for free in Takoradi until he got the opportunity to join High Grade Family, a record label owned by Samini one of Ghana’s best musician.

Kofi Kinaata got his singing talent and voice from his mother who sings very well and also a very good composer. His musical journey so far has been very fruitful making him very popular among his peers and also winning him the song writer of the year on two occasions. Kofi Kinaata is the type who loves to keep friends a lot and always gets in touch anytime necessary. He’s the type who expresses his thought through the music he does.
Keeping in touch with his fans was the genesis of his show ‘Made in Taadi’. He’s currently promoting his latest hit ‘Things Fall Apart’.
Even though he doesn’t play football as he used to, Kofi Kinaata still like football and a huge fan of Sekondi Hassacas and Manchester United.
