A few days ago, veteran highlife musician Rex Omar expressed his love for the opposition National Democratic Congress. According to him, he is good friends with former president Mahama and even asked that Ghanaians give him a second chance.
What he said obviously did not sit well with some people and one of the ruling New Patriotic Party, the Assembly Member for Abrepo-Mpatasie in the Kumasi metropolis Ohemeng Ian Moore has taken a jab at Rex Omar for even daring to say that.
Mr. Abrepo says Rex’s songs are as bad as the parties he supports. It is not hard to tell that Rex has touched a nerve. But come to think of it, Rex’s songs are not even close to bad…
