I’m Concentrating On Emceeing Because The Movie Industry Is Dead, There Are No Productions – Nikki Samonas Reveals Why Hunger Catch So Many Actors In Ghana

So the only way to survive is to find something else to do alongside your acting job -either find a different job related to acting – tv/radio presenting, emceeing, modelling – or become an ashawobrity as so many before you.

Nikki Samonas has chosen to do other things in the absence of acting roles to survive.

According to her, the number of productions has really slowed down thus actors have to branch into other areas.

“Sincerely, I wish things were much better with our movie sector than they are now because productions across the country have been slow,” she revealed.

“I still get scripts for roles but the numbers are not encouraging as in previous years where you could get 15 scripts in a year.”

Samonas added that for now she’s concentrating on being an MC to feed herself because she cannot rely on the dead movie industry.

In this climate, actors who decide to sit home and do nothing to supplement their income are going to be fighting hunger – allegedly.
