I Was Acting The Fool All This While, It’s A Shame Ghanaians Didn’t See It – Shatta Wale Claims He’s Not An Idiot, He Just Pretends To Be One To Trend

Ever since Shatta Wale returned from a decade long absence, changed his name from Bandana and started stirring controversy for fun – his career has moved from mediocrity to success.

The new personality he has created of the disrespectful, arrogant Shatta Wale is what his Shatta movement fans love – but he’s now claiming it was all an act.

Speaking with Peace Fm over the weekend, Shatta said he only played the fool throughout the years because he needed attention and it has really helped his career.

“I have been acting all along and it is sad that Ghanaians didn’t see it. I created all the controversies to get the attention I needed and I am glad I did get the impact,” he said.

Wale added that he’s now a changed man.

“I no longer post videos insulting anyone, I am trying to stay cool as possible. I have gotten all the attention I needed and I am glad for the support I have from my huge fan base,”
