Fast-rising Ghanaian actress and musician, Yaa Jackson has refuted claims that she stole Guru’s song.
According to her in an interview with Zion Felix, she wrote the song personally for a collaboration with Guru but he rejected it and said he needed something different.
“Initially the song was supposed to be a collaboration between Guru and I so I wrote my verse which he said he don’t like. He said he wanted me to do something different which I haven’t done before that’s why I used the initial verse I wrote for my new song ‘Mekɔn ado’ ,” she said.

Speaking about her character, Yaa Jackson said she knows she’s respectful and does not agree with perception about her being disrespectful. She said it is unfair to accuse her of being arrogant and disrespectful without getting close to her.
