Who knew Regina Daniels’ mother, Rita Daniels, was actually a prankster in disguise?

Rita Daniels got heads spinning at the 2019 Headies when she came on stage to present the award for Artist of the Year.

Whilst introducing herself, instead of simply mentioning her name and moving on, Rita instead introduced herself as: “Rita Daniels, aka Regina Daniel’s mother”.

Her pranks didn’t stop there: she then went on to name the ‘Artist of the Year’ as – ‘Regina Daniels’.

She was kidding, of course, later naming the real winner: Burna Boy.

Nigerians on social media have reacted furiously to her antics, especially the part where she added her daughter’s name to her intro.
