RTP Awards 2019: Watch That Humiliating Moment When Blakk Rasta Walked Up To Pick An Award Only To Be Told He Wasn’t The Winner

The 8th edition of the Radio and Television Awards (RTP) was characterised by some embarrassing moments.

From Kofi Kapito admiring and spending time to talk about Serwaa Amihere’s butts, Nana Aba Anamoah exposing her best friends of 8 years who dragged her to a juju woman to be destroyed─and Blakk Rasta walking up to the stage to pick an award which wasn’t his.

Apparently, Blakk Rasta prepared himself for the “Reggae Program of the Year” award and never thought someone else could win it apart from him─but wait, do you have to win in that category every year?

Blakk Rasta on the night embarrassed himself when he walked up to the stage to pick and deliver his acceptance speech for winning “Reggae Program of the year” award only to be told it wasn’t for him but rather Blakk Koby.

Apparently, he thought he was the only one with the name Blakk in the hall but there were two Blakks in the hall on the night─Blakk Rasta and Blakk Koby.

The winner was actually Blakk Koby but Blakk Rasta after hearing Blakk rushed onto the stage only to be told it’s rather Blakk Koby and not Blakk Rasta.

He had no option than to walk off the stage as he couldn’t face the laughter from the crowd.
