Are You Feeling It In Your Pocket? Ursula Owusu Claims Government Has Fulfilled 80% of All Their Campaign Promises

I guess when you’re in power and everything is smooth in your life, it’s easier to think everything is smooth in the lives of everyone.

Despite incessant complaints from Ghanaians over the increase in electricity tariffs, fuel prices and everything else, with no corresponding increase in wages, this deluded government maintains everything is smooth in the country.

Pompous Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu, embodies this mindset after claiming the NPP have fulfilled roughly 80% of all their campaign promises.

You know, promises like reducing electricity tariffs and arresting the galloping dollar.

Despite reality proving otherwise, Ursula says the NPP government is doing just fine.

“We can say on authority that about 80% of all the campaign pledges have been fulfilled,” she told the Oti Regional New Patriotic Party Women’s Wing Conference.

Shea added: “I’m sure you will agree with me that the worse NPP government is far far better than the best NDC has to offer…so we will ensure that we will not curse this country again with the worse that we have ever experienced in governance and let the NDC come and take over again.”

Correction: the best the NPP has to offer is the same as the best the NDC has to offer – which is NOTHING.

The past few years have conclusively proven, in my humble opinion, that Ghana is doomed no matter which of those two cancerous parties is in power.
