I Won’t Gain Anything If I Congratulate Sarkodie – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has revealed the reason why he is yet to congratulate Sarkodie for his recent win at the BET Hiphop awards.

According to him, he does not deem it necessary to congratulate Sarkodie since it won’t bring any benefit to his life and it’s a complete waste of time.

He added that he does not see Sarkodie’s win as something big or unique as he is not the only Ghanaian artistes too have been honoured by BET before.

He disclosed this in an interview with Paul Adom Otchere on Good Evening Ghana show.

“I don’t think it’s necessary…yes award is award, I don’t see award like something that will get me money into my account…I don’t see it like it’s important,” he said on the show. He’s not the only person who has gone to BET. Samini went there and others too did so I’m not going to be wowed by this,”he said.

Shatta Wale further said that his focus is on making money and winning award now and nothing will divert his attention from that.
