Mercy Eke has won the 2019 Big Brother Naija (BBNaija 2019) reality show.
The 26-year-old, who was the only woman in the finals, easily beat off competition from Mike, Frodd, Omashola and Seyi.
Mercy, a former video vixen, becomes the first female ever to win the BBNaija reality TV show since it began over a decade ago.
According to the organisers, Mercy won the BBNaija pepperdem edition by a landslide — 41.77% of the vote. Mike came distant second, polling 19.94% of the vote.
Mercy Eke will receive a grand prize of a whopping 60 million Naira.
The Imo State indigene will also be rewarded a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dubai for two packaged by TravelBeta; a home make-over courtesy Scanfrost; a year’s supply of Pepsi and One Africa Fest VVIP experience; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles & Munch it; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
The 2019 BBNaija finals was made more entertaining, thanks to performances from Tiwa Savage, M.I Abaga, and Patoranking.
