Ghanaian singer and songwriter Rebecca Acheampong popularly known as Becca has revealed that aside the fact that Ghanaian music is moving forward there are some things lacking.

Speaking on GHOne TV she said if Ghanaians were to promote their songs very well, the industry would have reached a higher level.

“The other aspects of Ghanaian music lacking is promotion, distribution and mechanical distribution and all of that.

“I think we are lacking because we are not researching and plugin our music into website that deserve it. We need to read more and realize there are a lot of platforms we can use but people only think of going for shows thinking that’s the only avenue they can make money,” she said.

She said this while promoting her new single “Yes I Do” which she features Tiwa Savage a Nigerian artiste.
