We all know the system is ‘hot’, everyone is trying to survive but this is literally a bridge too far.
A Nigerian town we are unable to identify is grabbing headlines all over due to a ‘bridge’ which residents have to pay 50 naira before being allowed to cross.

The so-called ‘bridge’ is just a thin plank of wood placed over a stream by a couple of ‘hustlers’ who are charging passers-by for the privilege of using their ‘bridge’.
Apparently, if you refuse to pay, you’ll not be allowed to cross.
Oh Africa!
We all know this money is going to individual pockets, something illegal but it’s happening anyway.
