One thing you should know about politics especially in Africa is that─it’s all about the struggle for power and money and not the welfare of the masses.
A Ghanaian politician, Elisha Debrah Odoom who contested in the just ended NPP Primaries refused to honour his promise of donating 11 saloon cars to the party.
Elisha Debrah Odoom took back the 11 saloon cars he promised the party after losing miserably to his opponent in the Ajumako Enyam Essiam constituency.
According to reports, he lost to one Rashid Kwesi Etuaful who garnered 411 votes against his humiliating 67 votes.
Failed Elisha Debrah Odoom ordered that his 11 cars be loaded onto a truck after he lost the primaries.
According to Kasapa FM’s Reporter Yaw Boagyan;
“The delegates were shocked when Elisha Debrah Odoom after the results were announced ordered that the cars be carted back to wherever he brought them from. The delegates were thinking that he could have donated at least just one of the vehicles to the party office to show his love for the party but he didn’t do that”.
