Shatta Wale Was Not Going To Congratulate Stonebwoy The Night Of VGMA – Pope Skinny

Ghanaian musician Edwin Ohene Darko popularly known as Pope Skinny has revealed the real intentions of Shatta Wale going on stage the night of VGMA after Stonebwoy was honoured the dancehall artist of the year.

In an interview with Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV, Pope Skinny said what Shatta was going to do is something they have planned at the camp of Shatta Movement for a long time but some people like himself were against it.

“Wale wasn’t going to congratulates Stonebwoy. It was something that has been planned a long time ago that when we go for any event and realized what is meant for us (anyone from the camp of Shatta Movement) is given to another person,we will go on stage and take it by force and announce it ourselves that we deserve it. So Shatta was going for the microphone to say he deserves the award more than Stonebwoy and not to congratulate him,” he said.

He also added that Shatta Wale doesn’t fight anyone because he has a problem with that person but rather he fights you when he thinks you are supposed to say something and you don’t say it or when he expects you to say something and you don’t say it.
