Ghanaians Don’t Know Why They Voted For Akufo-Addo – Pope Skinny

Ghanaian musician Edwin Ohene Darko popularly known as Pope Skinny has said Ghanaians do not know the reasons why they vote for a President.

In an interview on Kofi TV with Kofi Adoma, he said because the media focuses on what’s trending on social media, we forget the reason why we voted for our president and hail them when they provide social amenities instead of going the extra mile to help the less privilege in society.

“Ghanaians don’t know why they voted for the president because they depend on social media now. The work of a president is to provide a place for those who are on the street to at least lay their heads and help build a place for autistics children and help them with drugs and not to provide social amenities such as roads , schools , hospitals etc which is the right for every Ghanaian to enjoy therefore we must not be okay and hail them just because of that which is our right,” he said.

He also added how he wishes  to build a place which will take care of children with autistic in any form and not be chained in the various villages especially in the North.
