Singer Becca has revealed she was very surprised by the negative reactions from Ghanaians when she married her Nigerian husband Tobi Sanni Daniels.

According to her, until she married her husband, she thought Ghanaians were hospitable people especially to fellow Africans but she was wrong.
She disclosed this at the premiere of her new song “Yes I Do” after she was asked by actress Haillie Sumney how she dealt with abuses that came her way just because she married a Nigerian.
“When i got married to a Nigerian, there was mixed reactions and I was really surprised because I know Ghanaians are the most hospitable people in the world, so I wondered if the reaction would have been different if i married an American or an European,” she said.
Becca and her husband got married in August 2018 in Accra. The couple share a 7-month-old daughter.
