40 Ghanaians have arrived at the Kotoka International Airport after being deported from the United States of America for a range of crimes committed in the States.
The Ghana Immigration service revealed the news of their deportation in a statement, which lists the litany of offences for which the 40 were deported.
Their crimes include trafficking of banned substances, assault, vehicle theft, burglary, fraud, domestic violence and immigration-related issues.
The deported Ghanaians were made up of 38 males and 2 females.
In related news, the Immigration Service announced 12 Ghanaian females have also arrived back in the country after being deported from Saudi Arabia for illegally staying in the country.
