Takoradi’s most prominent music export of this generation, singer/rapper/songwriter Martin King Arthur, popularly known as Kofi Kinaata, has reacted with immense sorrow to the passing away of the missing Taadi girls.
According to Kinaata, he expected the police to do better and find the girls but unfortunately, they only found them after they died.
“I will say the outcome of the investigation and result of the DNA test in the missing Takoradi girls case has left me extremely sorrowful,” Kinaata told Citi News.
“That wasn’t what we were expecting but it turned out this way and we have no option but to take it in good faith. My condolences to the family, we are with them.
“The police could have done better. I think they did their best but they could have done better. We have complained a lot about their approach towards this case,” he added.

The police earlier this week revealed that DNA tests have confirmed that the bodies they found last month were those of the missing girls.
Strangely, some family members of the girls refuse to believe the bodies found were those of the girls.
