My Song ‘Wetin We Gain’ Was Actually Popular In Ghana Before Nigeria- Victor AD

Nigerian singer Victor Adere, popularly known as Victor AD has expressed his gratitude to Ghanaians for making his song ‘wetin we gain‘ a hit song here even before it became popular in his home country, Nigeria.

“A few weeks after I did ‘Wetin We Gain’, I got a call from Ghana that I should come for a show. I was [surprised] because this song had not even blown in Nigeria and you guys are asking me to come to Ghana for a show, ” he told Class FM.

“Everybody was singing ‘Wetin We Gain’ back-to-back and word-for-word, so, ‘Wetin We Gain’ was actually bigger in Ghana first before Nigeria”.
