According to Emmanuel Abeka, grandfather of Ruth Abeka, one of the girls, his grandchild isn’t dead.

Speaking with Citizen Kofi on Ahotor Fm, he claimed that he has been reliably informed that his grandchild was seen in Sowutuom in Accra so she cannot be dead as the police claims.

He also berated the police service for holding the press conference announcing the girl’s deaths without consulting their families first.

“The police IGP and his cohorts are very insensitive! How can you hold an issue like this without first consulting the immediate families?” he queried.
