Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has explained why his forthcoming album is called “Wonder boy”.
Shatta Wale in an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM said the album is a tribute to the tough beginnings in his career.

He said: “I knew that one day it was going to be wonderful, hence the title ‘wonder boy’. Its a big feeling for me that I have God by my side who has protected me up to this stage.
According to the musician he used the album to encourage Ghanaians to believe in themselves in whatever they are doing.

“Wonder boy is an album to encourage the upcoming ones, the youth not only musicians but whatever you’re doing and you have a plan, this is an album for you to listen to and motivate yourself with it,” he said.
“Wonder boy is just an album to tell the world that nobody can make you wonderful, nobody can shine the corner in which you are but if you believe in yourself that you can move mountains, then you have to know you are so wonderful.
“It all comes from my hard work, I never listened to anybody but I moved positively even though I was getting negative feedback from people.”
