Nigerian singer Yemi Alade has signed a licencing deal with Universal Music Group.
UMG recordings is an American Global music corporation, a subsidiary of French Media Conglomerate, Vivendi.

The deal was reportedly signed through her record label Effyzzie Music Group.
Alade, 30, is widely regarded as one of the best female African musicians of her generation.

She hit the spotlight in 2009 as the winner of the popular Peak Talent Show, then released her first single “fimisile”.
