The political elite had a field day earlier today when two of its members tied the knot.

Deputy Information Minister Nana Dokua Asiamah Adjei got married to Charles Bissue, the former secretary to the Inter-Ministerial Committe on Illegal Mining aka the Galamsey task force.

The traditional ceremony took place earlier today, with many political heavyweights in attendance.

Bissue was involved in a serious scandal when he was accused of corruption in his role on the galamsey task force, but was ‘exonerated’ after a CID investigation.
