Lawyer and Author Reno Omokri has reiterated his stance on who a Christian is and who a Christian is not. This world has lots of people who think just by virtue of going to church, one can already consider themselves Christians.
According to Reno, there is a distinct difference between someone who just goes to church and someone who leads a christ-like life, like that of Christ by emulating his teachings and doing things according to the Bible. The latter are the ones who can call themselves true Christians.
He Tweeted; “You take a car for SERVICING because you want it to last. But SERVICING does not make your car a car. You go to CHURCH because it is good for you. But CHURCHGOING doesn’t make you a CHRISTIAN. BELIEVING and FOLLOWING Christ makes you a CHRISTIAN.”
