Many African countries are currently pissed the ‘f’ off at South Africans over the most recent spate of xenophobic attacks which erupted in the country.
It seems like attacking foreigners is becoming a disturbing annual ritual for South Africans and this time, everyone else is saying ‘enough is enough’.
South African businesses are being vandalized in other African countries – attacks on MTN in Nigeria has forced the company to close all offices until further notice.
In Zambia, citizens have placed a ban on playing South African music on their airwaves, and one DJ who flouted the directive found himself in big trouble.
Described only as DJ Hero, he reportedly received some severe beatings for playing South African music in a club.
“Zambian DJ Hero DJ gains weight in seconds after playing South African music in Club on the a copperbelt #StopXenophobi,” another DJ known as Star DJ Virus revealed on Facebook.
The post is accompanied by a horrible photo of the beatings this DJ Hero reportedly chopped, it’s too graphic to share though.
However, this should tell you just how angry people are with South Africans at the moment.
