American top rapper, Nicky Minaj, has announced her plans to retire from music any moment from now.

According to the musician, she has decided to quit music because she wants to start her own family.

Taken to Twitter she wrote; “I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me, ❌ in the box- cuz ain’t nobody checkin me. ✅ Love you for LIFE ♥️”

Apparently fans of Nicky Minaj haven’t taken the news likely, most of them are heartbroken and are expressing their emotions towards it.

The comes on the back of reports that Nicky Minaj and her boyfriend Kenneth Petty showed up at the Beverly Hills Courthouse for their marriage licence.

A close source to TMZ tipped the couple showed up to the court on Monday, July 29th and struggled their way to dodge public attention.

Nicky Minaj announced her relationship with Kenneth Petty in December 2018 when she celebrated her 36th birthday.
