From where we are sitting, it gets worse by the minute in South Africa with all the attacks and gruesome way people are being handled all because they are foreigners in a strange land. Just when we thought the world could get any better…
Many are following the hashtag #SayNoToXenophobia and expressing their heartfelt sympathy to those who are victims in this whole mess. Actress Lydia Forson has a thing or two to say about it. According to her, people who are following the tag and making dramatic noises think they are any better those South Africans because they did not set anyone on fire when in fact they have trolled and shaded and backlashed people online all the while.
She tweeted; “Some of you pipo screaming #SayNoToXenophobia were acting a fool online only a few ago! You were beating people with your words online and calling for them to be sent packing. Or you think you’re special because you didn’t burn people alive?.”
