Deceased Ivorian superstar DJ Arafat proved the potency of his fame in his country one last time as his vigil was filled to the brim by thousands of grieving fans.
Much like Ebony Reigns’ popularity showed with how Ghanaians flooded her funeral, Arafat basically shut down an entire stadium in his country.
The vigil/wake for Arafat was held last night at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium in Abidjan.
Fans turned up in a massive number to mourn the late singer, who died in a motorbike accident earlier this month.
