Nigerians Are GREAT Scammers Because We’re Smarter than Everyone Else – Jidenna Claims

All over the world Nigerians are infamous for carrying out 419 scams. They are so synonymous with fraud that everyone in the world is familiar with the phrase ‘getting an email from a Nigerian Prince’ – one of the most popular scams ever.

U.S based Nigerian singer Jidenna, however, says people call his country people fraudsters simply because they’re smarter than everyone else.

He was reacting to the recent news that a huge number of Nigerians had been arrested by the FBI for fraud.

Speaking on the Breakfast Club on Power 105.1fm in the U.S, Jidenna said Nigerians are smart, industrious and go-getters and do what they can to make money in every field of endeavour.

“The reason Nigerians are known for scamming…is because we are smarter than a lot of people…It is what it is.” Jidenna said.
